Spring fly-fishing

Soon, the grasp of winter will start to release and with the warmer daytime temperatures the trout's quest to feed will return again. The semi-hibernation during the extreme cold months will lift and the aquatic insects will start their cycle of life, offering food sources for us to imitate to lure our catches to our rods. It may only be a distant thought as I sit by the fire looking at the outdoor thermometer reading -14, but soon it will come. Until then I'll take a break to southern beaches to rejuvenate myself and maybe throw a line in the ocean!
